When capacity has been lost or there is a capacity issue, then the Court of Protection is the route to follow.
This is a complicated process whereby the Medical Profession are required to confirm that the patient no longer has the capacity to make decisions for themselves.
Although a complex area, here at Blacklaw we have the expertise to lead you through the in-depth process. We will liaise with Social Services, the Medical Profession, nursing and care homes to ensure this period is as stress free as possible.
